This is a thread for JAMB UTME Candidates taking part in the rescheduled JAMB exam that holds tomorrow July 1st, 2017. This is for you to meet up with other candidates and rub minds concerning tomorrows examination. By the way if you are yet to print your rescheduled exam slip, click here for steps on how to print yours Please make sure you are at your various exam centres, at least 30 mins before the time given on your slip. UNILAG, BUK 8 universities will soon start having 24hrs electricity

A memorandum of understanding signed between eight Federal Universities and the Rural Electrification Agency, means that these schools are about to get uninterrupted power supply. The supply will come from off grid active plants and the Universities to benefit are; Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in Bauchi, Bayero University in Kano, Usman Danfodiyo University in Sokoto, Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi, Nnamdi Azikwe University in Awka, University of Lagos in Akoka, Federal University of Petroleum Resources in Effurun Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife. The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile Ife was also included in the MoU. JAMB Orders 62,140 Candidates to Re-Write UTME on July 1st

JAMB Orders 62,140 Candidates to Re-Write UTM The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has said about 62,140 candidates will have to re-write the university admission examinations scheduled for Saturday July 1, 2017. The registrar of JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede, said these at a press briefing after the board’s management meeting in Abuja on Wednesday. The 62,140 cancelled results include of 57,646 candidates in centers-induced malpractice, 3,811 late registration, and 683 candidates who had biometric challenges. The JAMB boss said the Board has blacklisted 48 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres as a result of serious technical deficiencies, extortion, organised examination malpractice and other damaging infractions during the 2017 UTME . The board also suspended 24 centres for one year due to technical issues. It said the affected centres may be considered for 2019 exams. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Thursday said it had concluded arrangements for its supplementary 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). JAMB, on Wednesday, June 14, also announced the cancellation of results of no fewer than 50,000 candidates over examination malpractice and other alleged infractions . List of CBT Centres Sanctioned by JAMB and their Offences

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has released the full list of the 72 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres sanctioned during the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and their offences. According to the list obtained by Premium times, the affected centres were located in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). A review of the list shows that while 38 of them were outrightly delisted for misconducts and gross technical deficiencies, 24 of them were suspended for one year for technical deficiencies. Further analysis shows that 13 centres were blacklisted in Abia State, 10 in Rivers, nine in Anambra, six in Akwa Ibom, six in Delta, and six in Imo. Other affected states have between one and three centres blacklisted.
