JAMB Cancels Results Of 59,698 UTME Candidates


The Joint Admission and matriculation board has cancelled the result of 59,698 candidates who participated in the 2017 UTME.

According to the the JAMB registrar Oloyede 1,386 candidates have their results cancelled over examination malpractice.

57,646 results were cancelled as a result of centres-induced malpractices. These set of candidates are among the 62,140 that will rewrite the exam on July 1st, 2017.

#LAUTECH '34,000 students sitting at home since 2015 is unacceptable'- Saraki

Bukola Saraki took to Twitter to berate the crisis that has forced the students to stay at home for more than a year. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki has denounced the crisis rocking Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho, saying it is unacceptable. Saraki who took to Twitter on Thursday, July 13 to criticise the industrial action, which has paralysed academic activities in the school said the Senate has taken a stand on the issue. Although the Senate president did not state the stand the Senate took on the issue, but it was reported that the lawmakers had urged the Federal Government to intervene in the crisis bedevilling the University. Ayomide 100-level Unilag Student C*mm!ts Su!c!de After Being Disgraced By Her Roommates For Stealing

  We have received reports consing a young and vibrant Unilag Student, Ariyibi Ayomide who c*mmitted su!c!de by drinking sniper after she was allegedly set up. Apparently, some belongings belonging to her colleagues in the same hostel where she resides were missing, and then she was fingered…. They searched her bag, only to find the items in her bags.. She was disgraced by other students in the school. Ayomide then called her mum, a staff of the university, who later came to settle the matter.. Her mother paid N2,000, the value of what was found in her bags..
