Barcelona considers Coutinho as Neymar replacement

Neymar has had a spectacular Barcelona bust-up - leaving Liverpool fearing they will lose Philippe Coutinho.

The Nou Camp superstar had a furious training ground showdown with new team-mate Nelson Semedo , and then stormed out of training after the two confronted each other. Paris St Germain are closing in on a world record £200 million for Neymar with Barcelona chiefs increasingly convinced that he wants out - and believing now may be right to let him go.



Coutinho is top of Barcelona’s wanted list if they lose his Brazil international teammate, and Liverpool have been desperately fighting interest from the Catalan giants, so far resisting all approaches.

They have suggested an offer of £100m wouldn’t tempt them to sell a player who has just signed a new contract, but in Brazil it is claimed Coutinho is ready to make the move to Spain.
